Buffalo, NY - Senior Patrick Moran had a record-setting race on Saturday morning for the D'Youville men's cross country team at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan.
Moran ran the Harry F. Anderson Invitational with a time of 27:26, setting a new program record for an 8k. His time was good for 35th overall out of a field of 256 and he finished as the top runner for D'Youville on Saturday.
Earlier this season, Patrick set the program record for a 5k with the time of 17:01 at the Buffalo State Invitational. In every race this season, Moran has been the top runner for the men and finished second overall at the Buffalo State Invitational. He then followed up with an 8th place finish at the Penn State-Behrend Invitational.
In his first season with the team in 2018, Patrick was the top runner for D'Youville in every race that he ran. Of seven races, four of them were top-10 finishes for Moran - including a two first place finishes, a third, fourth, and ninth place finishes.
At the AMCC Championship, Patrick again finished as the top runner for the men and finished ninth overall to earn AMCC All-Conference honors.
Faith Falkowski, Women's Tennis - Faith Falkowski had a very impressive weekend for the women over the weekend as she helped the team pick up a pair of conference wins. Falkowski began her weekend by picking up a 6-0, 6-0 singles win and an 8-0 doubles victory on Saturday in a 6-3 win over La Roche. On Sunday in an 8-1 victory over Pitt.-Greensburg, Faith tallied two more victories as she won her singles match 6-0, 6-2 and her doubles match 8-1.
