Dobson Field


The facility is the home of the Saints soccer, lacrosse and softball programs. It is a state of the art lighted all turf field with two scoreboards, as well as an adjacent locker room, athletic training room, and office. The facility has parking for 35 cars.

Locker rooms for home and visiting teams, as well as an office, training room, referee room and restrooms are available across the street from the field.



Parking is primarily for referees, workers, employees, coaches, student-athletes and those who are handicapped. Parking for parents and fans is available along Fourth Street.



The field is named after Arthur F. Dobson, a prominent Buffalo attorney who died following a cycling accident while in Slovenia. 

The naming rights were secured by Mr. Dobson’s longtime and close friend Carl J. Montante who was on the cycling trip with him.  Montante is the President and CEO of Uniland Development Company and a current member of D’Youville’s Board of Trustees.

Montante and Mrs. Dobson founded the company in 1974 and Art Dobson provided legal expertise to the company for more than 30 years.  Today, Mrs. Dobson is Executive Vice President of Uniland Development Company
