Buffalo, NY - The AMCC announced their 2015-16 Team Peak Performers on Tuesday, with two teams from D'Youville being the best in their sport.
The D'Youville men's basketball team and the D'Youville men's tennis team have each achieved the highest cumulative team GPA amongst all of the AMCC men's basketball and tennis teams. Their efforts in the classroom and on the court of competition reflect the true meaning of a student-athlete.
Men's basketball led the conference with a cumulative 3.307 GPA while men's tennis led the way with a 3.513 cumulative GPA. The men's tennis team's cumulative GPA was the second highest amongst the 16 AMCC team's to receive the Team Peak Performer award.
Winners of the Team Peak Performers award have the highest cumulative team GPA amongst their sport in the AMCC. The cumulative GPA is effective with the close of the 2015 fall semester.
D'Youville was tied with Penn State-Behrend and Mount Aloysius with two Team Peak Performer awards each. Franciscan led the way with four while Penn State-Altoona and Medaille each had three.
