Banquet Award Winners: D'Youville Women's Bowling

Depew, NY - Wednesday, May 1 marked a day of celebration and recognition for all of D'Youville's student-athletes at the yearly Athletics Awards Banquet at Salvatore's Hospitality.

Head coach Sue Jeziorski presented the awards to her D'Youville women's bowling team.

Allison Imiola was awarded the team's Most Improved Player award as the women completed their first year as a club program. Imiola continued to become a stronger bowler as the season went on, competing well in each of the team's tournaments.

Ashley Len made a big impact on the team in their first year together as she was the recipient of the Spartan Award. Len took fifth overall and made the all-tournament team in the team's first tournament of the season as they finished second. In their third tournament, Ashley finished sixth and again received all-tournament honors as the team finished in second place again. The Spartan Award represents a player who exemplifies teamwork, passion and a dedication to their team.

The Most Valuable Player award went to Chloe Strong as she was one of the top finishers for the women throughout the season. Strong finished fourth all-tournament in the third tournament of the season for the women, helping them finish second overall.
