Women's Bowling Senior Salute

Women's Bowling Senior Salute

Today, we would like to salute our lone Women's Bowling senior, Allison Imiola. Allison is from Hamburg, New York.  She will be graduating this May with her degree in nursing from D'Youville. This season, Imiola was ranked 34th overall out of all conference bowlers.  In the team baker format, she would consistently bowl the 3rd and 8th frame, while filling 60% of those frames. Allison bowled 50 strikes out of 153 attempts which ranks her 12th overall in conference. Allison was a starter in every match this season and bowled a total of 83% of all possible frames.

Coach Jeziorski tabbed her as a key player for the Spartans stating, ""Allison was one of the most dedicated players on the team and was instrumental to the start-up of the D'Youville Bowling program. She will be a great loss to our team, but we are grateful for the path she has paved for future Spartan Bowlers."  In the 2018-2019 inaugural season, Allison was named the Most Improved Bowler by her teammates and coaches. She also earned recognition for her academic success as a member of the 2019-2020 AMCC Academic All-Conference Team. Lastly, Imiola brought home the ALL-AMCC Sportsmanship Award this year.
