Vokes Selected for AMCC Top Academic Honor

Buffalo, NY-One more award for D'Youville College baseball player Jordan Vokes (Caledonia, NY/Caledonia-Mumford). Vokes received the top academic honor given by the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference when he received the Faculty Athletics Representative Award.

Vokes graduated with a perfect 4.0 grade point average majoring in Biology with a minor in Childhood Nutrition. He was a four-time Academic All-Conference selection and three-time recipient of the D'Youville College Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year award.

In 2012 he was named the D'Youville baseball team's MVP award after leading the team in batting average (.313) and extra-base hits (8). He concluded his four-year career as the program's all-time hit leader (92) and played in team record 113-straight games.
