Buffalo, NY - The D'Youville men's basketball team won their third consecutive game on Monday evening as they defeated the Pitt.-Greensburg Bobcats - the top team in the AMCC - by the final score of 98-82.

With under 10 to go in the first half, the Bobcats would threaten to take the lead back as they trailed by one twice before taking the lead on a layup at 28-27. Nearly two minutes later, D'Youville would retake their lead as Will Saunders (Cleveland, OH/Euclid) converted an and-one to put the Spartans ahead 32-31 with 5:10 to go in the half. The two teams continued to battle as the half fell to less than a minute remaining with the teams tied at 45. The D'Youville lead fell to just one at 70-69, but Devon Darrell (Lockport, NY/Lockport) and Rosales would begin to take over. Darrell scored five consecutive points for the men with a Rosales layup and three Saunders free throws that gave the Spartans a nine-point lead. Rosales would then score five consecutive points of his own to keep the team's lead over the Bobcats, followed by back-to-back jumpers from Darrell made it a 10-point lead.
