Middlesex, PA-The D'Youville golf team closed the season with a strong second day performance at the AMCC Championship.
D'Youville finished in seventh place overall with a team score of 684.
Joe Bellavia (Tonawanda, NY/Canisius) was the low Spartan for the second-straight day. The freshman shot an 80 on day one, fifth-best among the competition, followed by an 82 on the second day. His two-day total of 162 placed him tied for ninth overall.
James Schultz (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) shot an 83 on the second day, a 12-shot improvement from his opening round score. Harrison Civin (Clarence, NY/Clarence) was the most improved Spartan on day two, lowering his score 14 shots from the opening round.
D'Youville was in eight place after day one and rose to their seventh place finish by lowering their team score 13 shots from the previous day.
