Buffalo, NY-The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference celebrates Day Two of NCAA Division III Week by honoring seven fall sport teams who achieved the highest overall cumulative grade point averages among their peer institutions in the conference.
Receiving an AMCC Team Peak Performer Award is the D'Youville College men's soccer team. Head coach Brendan Murphy's squad was first among the ten AMCC men's soccer programs with a 3.17 cumulative team grade point average.
The Team Peak Performer awards were established two years ago to recognize outstanding academic achievement by one team in each sport.
This is the fourth time a D'Youville College squad has received an AMCC Team Peak Performer Award. 2013 men's soccer joins 2011 women's cross-country, 2012 baseball, and 2012 women's tennis as previous recipients recognized as having the top grade point average among the conference teams for that particular season.
