Cresson, PA – The D'Youville men's soccer team lost another hard-fought game to one of the conference's best teams on Saturday afternoon as they fell to the Mount Aloysius Mounties by the final score of 2-0.
Mount Aloysius scored both of their goals in the first half, tallying 17 total shots. The Spartans were also aggressive in the first 45 minutes of play, registering four shots and playing a solid team defense.
In the second half, D'Youville stepped up their game on both ends of the field. The Mounties recorded seven shots to the Spartan's six, with the defense stepping up to keep the deficit at two while the offense put more pressure on the Aloysius defense. However the Mounties would hold on to their two-goal lead and defeat the Spartans 2-0.
