Tennis Stopped by Penn State Altoona

Altoona, PA-Men's tennis had the difficult task of playing an afternoon road match the night after a home match.

The Spartans lost two close doubles matches and that set the tone for the rest of the match in a 9-0 loss at Penn State Altoona.

Wei Yen Huang (New Taipei City, Taiwan/Washington Academy, DE) and Robert Amabile (Elma, NY/Iroquois) needed a tiebreaker to decide their first doubles contest. The Spartans' top pair dropped the extra play 7-2 and finished on the wrong end og 9-8 decision. Collin McMahon (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) and John Nazzarett (Cheektowaga, NY/Cheektowaga) were edged 9-7 in second doubles.

D'Youville closes their three-match in three days stretch of schedule with a 9:00 match hosted buy Pitt-Greensburg.
