Buffalo, NY - Junior Pat Stroh (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) of the D'Youville men's volleyball team had an impressive week for the team and was named AMCC Player of the Week on Monday and then Co-NEAC Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Pat had a dominate week for the Spartans as they went improved their season record to 3-2 after going 2-2 this past week. Stroh had a total of 55 kills this week, including a season high 24 against Sage on Saturday. He added seven digs and two service aces.
He recorded his first double-double of the season with 12 kills and 11 digs in a 3-0 victory over Southern Vermont on Saturday. He totaled 23 digs and nine service aces throughout the week, adding four total blocks to go with his 55 kills.
Stroh leads the team with 63 kills (fourth in AMCC) and 3.32 kills per set (third in the AMCC). He is second on the team in hitting percentage, digs per set and digs. He is also second on the team in service aces per set at 0.58, which is second in the AMCC and he is tied for fourth in the conference with 11 service aces.
In the NEAC, Pat is fourth in kills per set and second in service aces per set.
Pat was also named the D'Youville Athlete of the Week.
