Men's Cross Country Finishes Final Invitational Before AMCC Championship

Geneva, NY - The D'Youville Men's Cross Country Team took one step closer to the AMCC Championship as they completed the William Smith Invitational on Saturday.

Sophomore Matthew Silver (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) was the top runner for the Spartans as he finished with a time of 27:59.3, good for 20th overall. Freshman Dalton Cerbone (Lyndonville, NY/Lyndonville) continued his strong running as he finished second for D'Youville with a time of 29:37.7. 

D'Youville finished 8th out of 14 teams and earned a score of 232. Silver finished 20th out of 144 runners over the 8k course. The team sent 7 runners.

The next and final race of the season for the D'Youville Men's Cross Country Team is Saturday, November 1st in Steubenville, OH for the AMCC Championship.
