Men's Cross Country Has Strong AMCC Championship Finish

Steubenville, OH - The D'Youville Men's Cross Country had a strong finish to their conference season after placing 4th in the AMCC Championship, hosted by Franciscan University.

The top runner for the Spartans was Matthew Silver (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) who finished with a time of 28:01. Silver's time was good for 11th overall. Finishing behind Silver for D'Youville was Dalton Cerbone (Lyndonville, NY/Lyndonville) with a time 29:15, which earned Cerbone a 20th place finish.

There were 90 runners who competed in the AMCC Championship. D'Youville finished 4th out of 10 teams with a combined time of 2:30.08 and a score of 118. The Spartans sent 7 runners.
