Men Finish Cross Country Championship in Tenth Place

Geneva, NY - The D'Youville men's cross country team wrapped up their final race before the AMCC Championships by finishing tenth in the Cross Country only Championships on Saturday afternoon.

As they have done throughout the season, junior Brian Buttaggi (Penfield, NY/Webster Schroeder) and Patrick Leslie (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads) continued to pace the Spartan runners. Buttaggi was the top D'Youville runner with a time of 29:19, but Leslie was right on his heels with a time of 29:18. The two times are season bests for each of the runners.

Also boasting season best times were David Braun (Okinawa, Japan/Kadena), Christopher Rumpl (Kenmore, NY/Kenmore East). The two were near each other in times as Braun finished by running a time of 31:52 and Rumpl came in with a time of 32:14.
