Why D'Youville: The school fit me well. When I was looking into going back for a degree in PT there were several school in play. Ultimately, it was the campus, faculty, and education at D'Youville that made me think it was right for me.

Career Goals: Keep an open mind on what type of PT I will end up as. I would like to get into coaching and also contribute to the profession by teaching one day.

Favorite Athletes: Brett Favre, Eliud Kipchoge

Role Models: My grandfather taught me to never stop learning no matter your age

Favorite Sport Other Than Cross Country: Frisbee golf (Frolf)

Favorite Thing About Cross Country: It's such an individual and team sport. You fight against the clock for continued improvement and to place as low as possible for the team's success.

Favorite Moment Running Cross Country: I have so many incredible moments while competing in this sport. From meeting the greatest people to traveling out of state just to run. My biggest accomplishment was probably qualifying for the Boston Marathon. When I ran Boston and you turn down Boylston St. to finish, the crowd is deafening and one of the coolest experiences of my life.

Interesting/Unique Fact About You: I was actually a left/right guard and outside linebacker in football. I also only threw shot and disc for track, no running whatsoever.

Personal: Son of David Moran and Yvonne Rieger
