Erie, PA - The D'Youville men's cross country team completed their second race of the season on Friday afternoon at the Penn State-Behrend Invitational.
Patrick Moran (Wheatfield, NY/NCCC) paced the Spartans and finished 8th overall with a time of 28:42 in the 8k. Tylor Muscarella (Geneseo, NY/Geneseo Central) and David Oswald (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) were the second and third finishers for D'Youville as they finished back-to-back with times of 35:01 and 35:06 respectively.
Dalton Holthouse (Clymer, NY/Clymer) and Zach Bochacki (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) ran strong races in their first 8k of the season. Holthouse finished just under 38 minutes with Bochacki and Edward Apen (East Aurora, NY/Home School) each running under 39 minutes.
Rounding out the team were Dominick Harris (Kenmore, NY/Kenmroe West), Matthew Buttaggi (Penfield, NY/Webster-Schroeder), and Anthony Scallio (Elkridge, MD/Mt. St. Joseph) - all putting in impressive efforts.
The next race for the men comes next Saturday, September 21 at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational.
