Hartman Named AMCC Player of the Week

Buffalo, NY - Freshman Jordan Hartman (Lake View, NY/Frontier) had a fantastic week for the D'Youville softball team, performing at the plate and has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) player of the week.

Jordan became a regular part of the team's lineup this past week, helping the women earn a pair of conference victories. Beginning on Thursday, Hartman went 1-2 in a game one loss to Pitt.-Bradford. In game two, Jordan went 2-4 with a RBI in the 8-1 victory over the Panthers.

She then went 1-1 with three walks in the 3-2 win over Mount Aloysius in game one on Saturday, followed by an incredible 3-4 performance with four RBI in game two. In total, Jordan went 7-11 with five RBI and three walks.

Despite playing in only 19 games and registering 27 at-bats, Hartman has registered 13 hits and is hitting .481 and is fifth on the team with 10 RBI. Her talents at the plate have added depth to the Spartan's lineup and made them a more dangerous offensive team.
