Kalie McHenry returns to D'Youville as the team's graduate assistant after two years as Medaille's pitching/assistant coach.

McHenry comes back to D'Youville where she play collegiately and was the best pitcher in the program's history. She was named AMCC Pitcher of the Year from 2014-16, AMCC First Team All-Conference 2013-16, and finished at the top of the conference in wins, strikeouts, and ERA several times.

Kalie's senior year capped off a great career with every major pitching record in program history. She entered the season atop the record books in wins, shutouts, innings pitched and complete games. At seasons end she put those records out of reach by totaling 65 wins, 17 shutouts, 691.1 innings pitched and 95 complete games. Kalie then set new records in appearances (107), games started (98) and strikeouts (622) throughout this past season.

In 2015, McHenry appeared in 27 games as a pitcher, and led team in wins (21), strikeouts (164), innings pitched (180.1), ERA (1.01), complete games (23) and games started (26). She also led the AMCC in ERA, wins, innings pitched, and was second in strikeouts. She was also named AMCC Pitcher of the Year, an AMCC First Team All-Conference, AMCC Academic All-Conference Team, and was named AMCC Pitcher of the Week five times.

Her sophomore season she was also an AMCC Academic All-Conference Team member, appearing in 22 games as a pitcher, starting 20 of them with an 11-9 record. She totaled 140.2 innings pitched, 19 complete games, a 1.49 ERA and 120 strikeouts (all led team). Again she was a First Team All-Conference selection and AMCC Pitcher of the Year.

As a freshman in 2013, Kalie started 27 games played while batting .203 (15-74) with 3 doubles, 2 home runs, 9 RBI, 8 runs scored, and 1 stolen base. In 22 appearances at pitcher (20 starts), Kalie went 10-13 with a 2.58 ERA. She struck out 135 batters in 141 innings pitched over 21 complete games. McHenry led all AMCC pitchers in strikeouts and innings pitched, was an AMCC Academic All-Conference selection, and voted as an AMCC First-Team All-Conference player.

Over her four year career, Kalie has an ERA of 1.62. She set career highs in games started (32), wins (23), complete games (32), innings pitched (229.1) and strikeouts (203) all in her senior season. At the plate, McHenry had career highs in hits (39), doubles (6), triples (4), RBI (22), walks (20) and batting average (.371) in 2016 as well. She is ninth all-time in hits (79), tied for third in triples (6), tied for tenth in RBI (42) and seventh in total bases (117).
