Howard began to shoulder the scoring load for the Spartans, scoring seven of the final 10 points of the quarter. However the Panthers would continue their offensive success as they took a 41-31 lead into the half.

Bradford came out in the second half and put distance between themselves and D'Youville. With 11 unanswered points to start the third quarter, the Panthers took a 52-31 lead. After a Darian Evans (Brant, NY/Lake Shore) free throw, Bradford again flexed their offensive muscles by increasing their lead to 62-32. D'Youville would close out the quarter with a 15-2 run in the final 5:48, closing the gap to 64-47 at the end of the third.

The Spartans were able to pull the game to 15 points early in the fourth quarter, but the Panthers were able to regain a 20-point lead with 5:52 to go in the game. As the quarter went on, D'Youville was able to chip away at the lead and make it a 12-point game after a pair of Monica June (Buffalo, NY/Hutch Tech) free throws. The lead was down to 10 with 0:38 to go, but time ran out on the D'Youville comeback as Bradford defeated the Spartans by the final of 86-75.
