Hore Named AMCC Player of the Week for the Second Time

Buffalo, NY - Freshman guard Danielle Hore (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) of the D'Youville women's basketball team capped off her dominant week of play on Monday as she was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week, announced the conference Monday afternoon.

On Wednesday against Penn State-Behrend, Hore posted a then career high 24 points on 8-12 shooting and 7-7 from the free throw line in the 80-65 victory. She added eight steals, seven rebounds, and five assists in the win. To follow up on Saturday at Mount Aloysius, Hore topped her career high in scoring with 26 points in the 70-66 overtime win against the Mounties. Playing all 45 minutes, Danielle tied a career high 17 boards with two assists and two steals.

Hore is currently fourth in the conference in scoring (16.5 PPG), second in rebounding (12.0 RPG), third in assists (5.7 APG), and first in steals (3.1 SPG). In 13 games played, Danielle has scored double-figures in every game of her career. She has grabbed at least five rebounds in 12 of 13 games with five or more assists in 10 of 13 games and at least a steal in 12 of 13 games.

This is the second time this season the freshman has been named AMCC Player of the Week with the first time coming back in November.
