Buffalo, NY - The D'Youville women's bowling team completed their second tournament of the season on Sunday afternoon at the Medaille Tournament.
Day two consisted of three matches of five baker games. The women finished the tournament in fourth place with their combined Baker and traditional tournament scoring.
The second day of the match saw a one pin against Villa Maria, but then the team won by 48 against Penn State-Behrend in their next match. They would then close out with a loss to Daemen by 87 bedore heading into the bracket format.
Medaille took down the Spartans in their first bracket baker match, but the women would then come back strong against Roberts Wesleyan. D'Youville would go down 2-0 early but come back to win 4-2 in an impressive comeback.
Freshman Emily Williams (Colden, NY/Springville) had a great finish after she was moved to the anchor position during the last matches of the baker competition.
The next tournament for D'Youville will come next weekend at the Spartans partake in the Redhawk Fall Rally on Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10.
