Cheektowaga, NY - The D'Youville women's bowling team earned a big win on Friday evening in their match against the St. Vincent Bearcats.
D'Youville began the evening with a big 808-776 victory over St. Vincent in their traditional match. Emily Williams (Colden, NY/Springville) was the difference maker for the women with a 195 to lead the team. Chloe Strong (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore West) also bowled an outstanding match with a score of 184 and hit a huge double in the ninth and tenth to secure the win. In the second baker, the Spartans again took the first match, but the Bearcats would answer with wins in the next four to take it 4-1.
