Women's Bowling Gets Back to Action in Dual at Medaille

Buffalo, NY - The D'Youville women's bowling team resumed their season on Tuesday evening as they took on the Medaille Mavericks.

Medaille team the team match against the Spartans, winning 871-816. Ashley Len (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster) was the top bowler for D'Youville with a score of 212. Chloe Strong (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore West) followed with a 203 as she bowled a very strong frame.

Allison Imiola (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) had a solid performance with a 165 as Rebecca Hennessy (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) turned in a score of 129. Becca Weiss (Williamsville, NY/Mt. St. Mary Academy) closed out the scoring for the Spartans with a 107.

In the baker match, the Mavericks took the first game by two pins at 179-177. Medaille would then take the next two games 171-126 and 201-184. The Spartans would come back with a 234-147 win in game four, but Medaille closed out the baker match with a 179-156 win in the fifth.

The Spartans will next play tomorrow, January 29 as they play at Daemen.
