Golding Named IWLS Offensive Player of the Week

Buffalo, NY - After another outstanding offensive week for the D'Youville women's lacrosse team, senior captain Jillian Golding (Lockport, NY/Lockport) has been named the Independent Women's Lacrosse Schools (IWLS) Offensive Player of the Week.

Golding scored six goals with four assists in the 16-6 victory over Alfred University last Wednesday. She also had six ground balls, five draw controls, and three caused turnovers. It was the first time in program history that the women had won back-to-back games.

Currently, Golding leads the AMCC in goals (33), points (46), shots (77), second in assists (13) and draw controls (45), tied for seventh in caused turnovers (13), and eighth in ground balls (26). She is first on the team in goals, points, shots, assists, draw controls, while second in ground balls and caused turnovers.

In addition to her IWLS Offensive Player of the Week honor this week, Jill has been named D'Youville Student-Athlete of the Week and AMCC Offensive Player of the Week twice this season during the weeks of March 19 and April 9
