Dulniak Named NEAC Defensive Player of the Week

Buffalo, NY - Closing out the season with three consecutive victories, the D'Youville women's lacrosse team put forth a strong defensive effort all week and were led by one of their seniors

Goalkeeper Megan Dulniak (Cheektowaga, NY/Maryvale) ended her career with the Spartans with three consecutive conference wins for D'Youville. In three games this past week, Megan allowed four goals or less in all three.

She allowed just two goals and made four saves in the 20-2 win over Hilbert on Wednesday, followed by a 16-save performance in the 14-4 win against Lancaster Bible on Friday. She then closed out the season with an 11-save performance in the team's 19-4 over Penn State-Abington on Saturday.

Dulniak is currently second in the NEAC in saves and third in save percentage. She also ranks fifth in goals against average.

Megan had a career year this year as she set career highs in saves (183), wins (7), minutes played (1023:10), games played (17), games started (17), and set a career low in goals against average (11.85). She is the program's all-time leader in every major statistical category.
