NEAC Releases Women's Lacrosse Season Preview

Buffalo, NY - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) released their women's lacrosse season preview, giving insight to each of the conference's teams for the 2020 season.

Head coach Kate Mayhook enters her fifth year leading the program and the team enters it's second in the NEAC. After being picked to finish last in the preseason polls, the Spartans finished with a 3-6 conference record and one spot out of the playoffs. Overall, the women finished with a 7-10 record.

While suffering some key losses, the team returns a strong group of returners. Tiffany Cristofanelli (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield), Sierra Brooks (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island), Julia Prychodko (East Aurora, NY/East Aurora), Marina Campbell (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Catholic), Alison Gareis (Buffalo, NY/Buffalo Seminary), Marissa Markott (Sanborn, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield), and Riley Riedel (Marilla, NY/Iroquois) are some of the top players for the women who will be counted on to bring the team forward.
