Buffalo, NY - Following the conclusion of the AMCC playoffs for women's soccer, the conference announced the members of the all-tournament team.
Senior midfielder Kaylee Heschke (Newfane, NY/Newfane) and freshman forward Jordan Pachla (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) were named to the AMCC All-Tournament with their outstanding play during the postseason. The fourth seeded Spartans took down the fifth seeded Penn State-Altoona 2-1 in their first round game, followed by a 1-0 overtime loss to the eventual conference champions and top overall seeded Pitt.-Greensburg Bobcats.
Heschke started both games in the team's playoff run, playing her usual role of a dominant defensive presence in the central midfield. She helped limit the team's two opponents to just two goals throughout the playoffs, as well as registering a pair of goals against Pitt.-Greensburg.
Pachla had a major impact on the team's first round win over the Lions, scoring the game-winning goal in the final 10 minutes of play. She then tallied two shots in the semifinal matchup against the Bobcats.
Not only were Heschke and Pachla named AMCC All-Tournament Team players, but the duo were able AMCC All-Conference selections this season.
