Kiernan Johnson joined the D'Youville women's soccer coaching staff in 2018 following her four-year playing career for the Spartans.
Johnson began her career for the women in 2014 where she played in 17 games and scored one goal. The next season she had a breakout performance playing in 15 games and she led the team in points (15), tied for first in goals (6), tied for third in assists (3). Her career performance came against SUNY Canton where she recorded three goals and two assists for eight total points.
In her junior season, Kiernan led the team in assists and shots, tying for third in points after playing in 16 games, starting 13. Johnson's senior season was one of her best as she played and starter all 19 games, scoring a goal with five assists as the team reached the second round of the AMCC playoffs.
Not only was Kiernan a successful player in soccer, but she played three years for the women's lacrosse team as well. She played for the team their inaugural season of 2016, then starting nine of six games in 2017 and all 13 games in 2018.
