Spartans Keep Moving Forward

Bradford, PA-Women's tennis moved back into conference play with a match at Pitt-Bradford and the improving Spartans squad took another step forward in their development by taking a pair of singles matches over Pitt-Bradford.

Jessica Lampka (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster) won in first singles match of the season (5-2, retired) and in second singles Courtney Fox (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry Charter School) won her first match of the season with a 7-5, 6-3 triumph.

K'nicia King (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) had her best result of the year with six games won in a 6-2, 6-4 decision in fourth singles.

Next up for D'Youville is a home match October 1 versus Penn State Behrend. Start time at Miller Tennis Center (5959 Sheridan Dr; Williamsville) is 4:00 p.m.
