Greensburg, PA - The D'Youville women's tennis team won their third consecutive match on Sunday afternoon as they dominated the Pitt.-Greensburg Bobcats by the final score of 8-1.
D'Youville had a dominating afternoon as they surrendered just one point to the host Bobcats. The team didn't allow more than two points to be scored against them in any of their doubles matches - earning a sweep.
Amanda Waliszewski (Wheatfield, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield) was a key player for the women as she had a dominating performance against her singles opponent by winning 6-0, 6-2. In her doubles pairing, her and Lexi Dickson (Hamilton, Ont./Frontier) put forth another strong performance as they won 8-1.
Faith Falkowski (Batavia, NY/Notre Dame) had a similar performance as she turned in a 6-0, 6-2 win in her singles performance while teaming up with Julia Clapper (Cleveland, OH/Highland) for an 8-1 victory in their doubles match.
Lauren Karoglan (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) earn two points of her team as her and Alisson Meissner (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) defeated the Greensburg top doubles pairing 8-2. In her singles match, Karoglan added another point to the team's total by winning 6-2, 6-2.
The women will next play a non-conference match this Wednesday, September 25 at Fredonia at 4:00pm.
