Women Can't Grasp First Win, One Game Remains In Season

Erie, PA - As the season nears it's end, the D'Youville Women's Volleyball Team failed to capture their first conference win as they fell to Penn St.-Behrend by the score of 3-0.

In the 3 sets played, D'Youville was defeated 25-11, 25-8 and 25-14. The Spartans collected 17 kills, 17 assists and 37 digs. Kendyll Smith (Petrolia, PA/Karns City) and Megan Schneider (Lockport, NY/Lockport) tied for the team lead in kills with 5. Savannah Brayton (Queensbury, NY/Queensbury) led the team with 9 digs.

Freshman Abby Booth (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) contributed in several areas by collecting 2 kills, 7 digs and a team leading 13 assists.

The final game of the season for the D'Youville Women's Volleyball Team is Saturday, November 1st in the College Center Gymnasium. The game is against Pitt.-Greensburg and begins at 1pm.
