Women's Volleyball Drops Second Game of PSB Invitational

Erie, PA – Game two of the day for the D'Youville women's volleyball team at the Penn State-Behrend Invitational had the same outcome as game one with the Spartans losing 3-0 to Defiance.

In three sets, the women were defeated 25-12, 25-22 and 25-14. As a team, D'Youville had 20 kills, 20 assists and 43 digs with 8 total blocks.

For the second straight game, Kaylee Stewart (Wilson, NY/Wilson) led the team in kills, recording 6. Freshman Julie Fleming (Mt. St. Mary's Academy) was second with 4 kills, followed by Abby Booth (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) and Megan McCarthy (Eden, NY/Eden). Booth led the team with 10 assists, followed by Christina Horton (Irondequoit, NY/West Irondequoit) who had 9.

Horton also held the team high in digs with 9, followed by Christine Seibert (Cassadaga Valley, NY/Cassadaga Valley), Booth and Megan Schneider (Lockport, NY/Lockport) all tied with 6 each.
