Bradford, PA - The D'Youville women's volleyball team lost their first conference road match of the season on Tuesday evening, falling to the Pitt.-Bradford Panthers by the final score of 3-0.
Bradford took a close first set 25-23 over the Spartans, but then had a larger victory in the second set at 25-16. The Panthers would close out their straight-set win over D'Youville in the third set, winning 25-19.
Kendyll Smith (Petrola, PA/Karns City) led the team with eight kills with Alexandra Bubar (Wilson, NY/Wilson) recording a team high 19 digs. Abby Booth (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) had a team high 13 assists with eight digs. Megan Schneider (Lockport, NY/Lockport) had three kills with 11 digs and Mckenna Cartonia (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster) tallying seven assists and digs.
The next match for the women comes on Wednesday, October 11 as they host the Penn State-Behrend Lions at 7:00pm.
