Fourth Place Finish at AMCC Championship Concludes Women's Season

Erie, PA - The D'Youville women's cross country team wrapped up their 2019 season on Saturday morning at they took fourth overall at the AMCC Championship. 

A score of 122 saw the Spartans take fourth overall at the 6k championship. The team recorded a combined time of 2:28:19.4 - the accumulation of the times of the top five runners for the women.

Rachel Luczak (Lancaster, NY/Immaculata) recorded the top overall score for the women by running a 26:42.1 - 16th overall amongst all runners. Stephanie Lisiecki (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca East) was not too far behind in 21st place and a time of 27:53.8.

Mebrhit Meheretab (Ethiopia/International Preparatory School) ran her personal best time of 29:35.8 and finished in 24th place for the women. Danielle Couch (Sanborn, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield) then placed in 28th with a time of 31:37.9.

Kaitlyn Furtado (Acushnet, MA/Fairhaven) ran a time of 32:29.7 as Mary Blackley (Lockport, NY/Blackley Academy) finished shortly behind her at 32:37.9. Alexis Dymond (Kenmore, NY/Kenmore East) came in with a time of 35:18.5 and Joanna Elledge (Lockport, NY/Wilson) capped off the finishers for the women at 36:06.4.
