Maura McKenna-Rossow
Title: Assistant Women's Tennis Coach

Maura Mckenna-Rossow joined the D’Youville women’s tennis coaching staff as assistant coach in 2017.

A graduate of Oregon State, Maura earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health Promotion and Education while she competed on the women’s varsity club tennis team.  It was during this time that she developed a, “student of the game of tennis for life attitude,” and discovered how much she loves to share this knowledge and interest with all who want to learn.

Maura played in the USTA for over 20 years along with many different state and local tournaments.  She has also been a teacher of the game through, Sportsplex Inc, The Park School of Buffalo and Transit Valley Country Club.

Growing up, Mckenna-Rossow also played soccer until the age of 20.  She says she chose tennis because of the longevity of it, and she had more opportunities to play with USTA after her college career ended.

Having a successful career with the USTA, Maura was ranked 57th nationally in 2011 in the Women’s 30 division and 5th in the Eastern section in the Women’s 30 PPR singles in 2010.  She was also ranked 24th nationally in 2007 in the Women’s Open Singles.

After living in Western NY for a majority of her life, she and her husband Mike Rossow are currently raising their daughter in the area.
